my first attempt at soot stamping.. and I like this technique.. rather like polished stone one never knows what its going to turn out like.Gotta stop fiddling and get down to some birthday cards today though.

- I'm a "baby boomer" originally from the UK! Liverpool. Home of the beatles! I used to skip off down to the Cavern instead of going to learn ball room dancing. I now live in Australia having emigrated in '87'. Best move we ever made! I met my husband David, when i was training to be a nurse. we have been married for 45 years we have two daughters and six grandaugthers... even the dog and cat are female. I have retired from nursing... we have moved up the coast.. beautiful beaches and the Hunter valley with its fabulous wineries and great countryside...I now can craft to my hearts content...LOl....I take enormous pleasure and pride in watching my girls getting on with their lives with such enthusiasm... they are a constant source of love for David and me.
